It’s been a long week since my last update and I have a few updates to share. Friday, April 14th was my birthday and I’m officially 37! I have been saying I was 37 all year. Probably just so I could get used to it. I actually think getting older is a very special process. I love who I’ve become regardless of how much growing hurts. Anyhow, it stormed all day, I hobbled around in my boot, and got my notary certificate which I’m glad about! Things moved a bit further than they the previous Money Moves Monday and progress is looking great! Grab that snack and something to drink and I’ll tell you exactly what went on.
For those of you who don’t know about what debt I’m currently working on, I’ve been paying down my Care Credit Credit Card which has charges from having lock jaw caused by TMJ disorder, this came at a price of $5,736 and still counting because I’m not done with treatment. Insurance refuses to pay anything so it’s prolonging my debt payoff. But…it’s not stopping me.
Here, we have my numbers for the past week:

All of it was at the end of the week if you can’t tell. I should be offended, lol! As for my current totals after I’ve made my payments for this week:

I’m below $27k…again!!! If I ever get above this amount again, it will not be because I couldn’t keep myself from making a bad balance transfer decision. I will draw from my savings before I do that again. But I digress! Every $1k down, is a milestone for me.
Birthday wishes for my 37th year: I’m reducing my debt liability like crazy this year before I turn 38. According to my calculations, (which are no joke – super legitimate) I will have less than $6,500 in debt by my birthday next year. Getting below $20k alone is going to be such a feat honestly so I’ll probably cry.
I also have some things coming this year to help me along my journey. I got my notary certificate for an extra stream of income. I’m getting my ducks together to post digital docs for you all to enjoy at a small price eventually. I have a really really big thing coming up that I’ll share once it’s complete later this year.
Makeup Artist Pro-Tip:
When you’re not feeling your best, put on a nice outfit, do your makeup, your hair, jewelry, and that will lift you mood a little. Doing my eyebrows alone has helped me feel just a little more spectacular even when I’m not feeling my best.
Thank you all for the support up to this point. Be prepared for many changes as I continue to grow.
Until Next time!
