Budget Close Out – April Paycheck 2

The time has come for me to close out my budget for the pay period! We’ll go over how things went for this budget. Grab yourself a lite snack because this will be a nice quick post and don’t forget to get yourself something to drink and we’ll get started.

Let’s talk a little bit about what has happened during this pay period:

These last paychecks normally have some fixed numbers and this one was no exception.  For my other income I received $109 because I share my storage unit.  I collected $2.16 from my Discover Rewards.  I charged a little over $50 to Discover during late March and April.  I also received $2.79 in interest for my checking account and $8.40 in interest for my money market.

I stayed below budget in my variable categories.  Not by a lot but I even have a little extra to add to my Care Credit – Credit Card.  In my last post, I mentioned I would be paying my personal loan through July so my next Money Moves Monday will look different.

Pro-Makeup Artist Tip:

If you like a little bit of sparkle like I do, use glitter primer to make a shimmer shadow bolder or to help with a gel or loose glitter adherence.  When applying, use a flat eyeshadow brush to apply the glitter primer in small sections and make sure your lines are clean, then apply your shimmer shadow, loose or gel glitter.  Once you finish your section move on to the next until you have your desired eye look complete!

There will be more about my paycheck because technically, I got paid today but I wanted to be sure to close things out before I started a new month.  That’s all I have for now!  Be sure to like, comment, and subscribe to receive notifications about new posts.

Until next time!
