April was great but let’s see what May has to bring. This all starts with my first paycheck in May. 😊 This is a lucky month for me because I’ll get 3 paychecks this month. This is the beauty of bi-weekly pay. Before I dive into my budget, grab a healthy snack to resume working on our beach bodies and the drink of your choice and we’ll get started.
I have a few things to explain when it comes to my paycheck and I will be sure to tell you all about it in just a moment. But feast your eyes on this:

- First, my bills are A LOT lower than they normally are because I have scattered everything across the 3 paychecks I’ll be getting this month.
- Second, I haven’t received the details for my Verizon bill quiet yet so that number will look different when it’s time to close out my budget.
- Third and brace yourself because it’s a long one. I’m sure you see the amount I received. I had to ponder on it for a second because…yikes. If you remember that little trip I took to the DR in February, I redeemed $294 points of rewards at my job on $300 of American Airlines gift cards. While it was great that it knocked off a portion of the amount I spent, Uncle Sam always has to take his cut and he reached his greedy little hand in to my pockets and snatched almost $72 out of my paycheck.
It’s an unfair advantage but is expected. The great news is it’s not stopping progress. I still plan on putting $873 towards my personal loan. I will be breaking up the debt payment into two payments, one for $437 and the second for $436. I’ll get to see some positive progress towards my debt which is what I’m here for and I’ll take you all along the ride. 😊
Pro-Makeup Artist Tip
So let’s talk payoff…with your liner. There are so many eyeliners on the market that things can get quite confusing. First things first, figure out what you want your eyeliner to do. To allow smudging, pencils are great for that, one of my favorites is the Wet N’ Wild color icon in black for the deep color and Wet N’ Wild Mega Last Breakup Proof because it doesn’t run as easily. For precision, a marker is a great option. It’s much easier to make a clean line especially if you’re new to eyeliners. One of my favorites is the NYX Epic Ink Liner. The last is a bit of a wild card because you can use it for multiple reasons. Inglot liner is waterproof and can be applied with a makeup brush. I absolutely love this liner because it’s very rich and long-lasting. This one takes a little practice should you decide to give it a try.
