Money Moves Monday – May Week 2

I’m back from my week-long break!  I did absolutely nothing, I was a vegetable.  I may try this again next week but actually get some work done. We had yet another sunny warm weekend again!  But alas…my foot is still broke so I stayed in the house.  It’s taking so long for my foot to heal and I had no idea that this is what my May would look like but I’m sure some good will come from this.  So!  Let’s take a look at how things went last week!  Grab a snack, don’t forget to keep to keep your beach/poolside body in mind, grab a beverage to wash it down, and we’ll get started!

I remained focused on my personal loan and make another dent in it.  Look at these amazing numbers:

This loan was on hiatus since December and I decided to revive it for now because it’s accruing interest and my Shop Your Way and Care Credit card are 0% interest until November 2023 and January 2024.  This is the perfect chance to throw everything I have at it and the balance is dropping in the best way I can imagine.  We still have 10 payments to go before putting the brakes back on with this debt but It’s really going to make a big difference as the balance continues to dwindle.

Also, my car payment did get paid today but I prepare my posts at least a day in advance so you’ll see it next week on Money Moves Monday.

And now, on to how much I owe all together:

Look who’s below $26k again!!!!  If I play my cards right, I will be below $25k for the first time ever before June. 😊

Another thing I thought about that I’m making an immediate change to is, all cash back is going to debt minus the change because I like even numbers.  Before, I was putting the money into my money market but I think it will serve a better purpose and help my balances go down a little quicker.  I have some cash back that will be deposited into my account this week that I’ll be putting towards debt so I’m starting the party right away.

Pro-Makeup Artist Tip:

Just like we have to be strategic about our money moves, we must also be cautious when applying foundation and concealer.  One thing I’ve found is when I’m applying concealer to problem areas or foundation, it’s an absolute MUST to have your primer and setting spray and nothing else on the skin.  Things like translucent powder and some eyeshadows can cause your concealer or foundation to not meld into the skin like it should.  If you run into this, get a makeup wipe and clear the area, prep it again, and give it another shot and it will work this go round.

That’s all I have for today!  Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe to see more content from me.

Until Next Time!
