Another Monday has came around and it’s time to share the progress made. This weekend I realized, feet take a super long time to heal, especially while wearing Crocs. My toes move a lot better but not as well as they move on my left foot. And my foot feels fine until I start walking on low tread carpet or outside. I’m not where near being able to burst into a sprint, not that I’d want too…but this 15 lbs I gained being stuck at home says I need to start running asap because it’s not going to lose itself. Since I’m stuck in PT, I also am postponing all my visits to the dentist for TMJ. It’s $129 every visit and I’m already spending $160 a week. A WEEK…It’s violent. If this keeps up, I’m really going to need to become a sugar baby. Let’s hope he likes chubby women…lol! We’ve got that part out of the way, it’s time to get a hold to your favorite snack and something to drink and we’ll get started!
With me doing everything week to week my progress is a little slow but usually I move more than $200, so let’s see how things have gone for the week:

I made a decision over the weekend to extend paying off my personal loan by one extra pay period. My next debt is my Shop Your Way credit card and I have to pay it off by November 1st before interest starts. With adding that extra payment to my personal loan, it dropped the amount I’ll owe a little and I’ll still have my Shop Your Way card paid by the original time frame.
And here I am debt wise! The number keeps going down and I’m stoked!

I sometimes worry about meeting my goals and the concern is partially associated with feeling like I’m not making enough and not having enough money to save the way I’d like to and payoff all of my debts. It’s scares me because I’m alone doing this. My margin for error is slim to none. I occasionally shake it off and fall right back into the same thought process because I like everyone, I feel like I’m selling myself short. Almost like how some of us adults feel like imposters. But just like anything, including my finances, I’ll look at this all in a positive light and I’ll keep working as hard as I can.
Pro Tip:
Over the weekend I had the opportunity to do a look for myself, record it, and I’ll eventually edit it and post it on social media. Since breaking my foot, I’ve been doing very light makeup when I do wear makeup and that alone made me feel a lot better like I’m still able to do something while I haven’t been able to do much. I said this before and I feel like I have to reiterate it, doing something to lift your mood is the best thing you can do for yourself. For me it’s putting on a face of makeup, for you it could be buying a pair of shoes (as long as it’s in your budget), wearing an outfit you enjoy, etc. Life is hard enough; we have to do as much as we can (within reason) for ourselves.
