Hi! How are you? I have good new and bad news. The bad news is…it’s Monday again. The good news…we can do a reset for this week and hopefully make more progress towards our financial goals. This weekend I did a few things. I did makeup on Friday and Saturday. It’s so nice to be busy and doing the right brain activity that I so very much need regularly. Unfortunately, the piece that allows me to record while I’m working on clients…broke Saturday morning. So I get to buy a new one…Yay. I was going to record the trial I did on Saturday but had to pivot and use my memory about what I used. But that’s okay! Everything we go through is an opportunity. Speaking of opportunities, let’s get this show on the road and discuss what happened over the last week. IF you have a chance, grab something to sip on and a snack, and we’ll get started!

So! I did get a bonus last week…Yay! I’ve been aggressive with paying down debt and I decided to put an extra $500 towards debt on top of what I already paid but keep in mind…I spread out the payments because I don’t like huge lump sums leaving my account. I know it’ll be applied eventually but doing it this way gives me peace and it also allows me to hit my goals weekly instead of biweekly. It honestly makes a world of difference and gives me something to look forward to every week. This week, extra debt payments went to my Shop Your Way credit card and I did make another payment to my car loan.

I looked back at the numbers and found I had an error with what I stated I paid last month. The figures are slightly lower than what I previously showed for my February Money Moves – Month End post. The nerd in me that loves numbers was too excited to find that error and share it because it means I’m a step closer to paying everything off. It’s still a distance away…but I’m closer. 😊 My credit card debt is going down consistently, and most of the debt in the other category is my car. Gotta love starting over…am I right? LOL. I’m okay being wrong with that one.
I’ve almost got all my data for 2023 put together and I’m just agonizing over a few details. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to post the figures this week.
Pro-Makeup Artist Tip
So speaking of new beginnings, I came across some really useful information for clients over the weekend. While I love my L.A. Girl concealer, this concealer is NOT dry skin friendly. I kind of knew this but I really really watched what I was doing over the weekend. Get to know your skin so you can do your research to find out what products are going to be best and get a few samples. Test them for wear for a couple of hours and that should tell you how the product will perform.
That’s all I have for today! Don’t forget to like, comment, subscribe to see more content from me and to share my page with someone who you think may benefit from the makeup tips or financial advice.
Until Next Time!
