Hello! So much has been going on that I totally forgot to post my numbers for last week. haven’t been feeling great at all but I’m pushing past it as best as I can. I’m really hoping I’ll have some relief soon but I’m still making strides for the most part. This weekend I did makeup for a bride and prom, helped some friends and celebrated my birthday 38th birthday! I really wanted to postpone my birthday but father time had other plans. I also got my hair cut and it wasn’t a catastrophe which is a miracle for me. The stylist I chose is wonderful and I’m going to have to find a way to put this in my budget for the coming months. So! Let’s get down to business. Grab a beverage and a snack to wash it down with and we’ll get started!

For the past two weeks I think I’ve done a pretty good job of making payments and working on these balances. I put a sexy dent in my Shop Your Way credit card and that balance is going down tremendously. I also made a small payment to my student loan like I do every month. It’s not much but it’s enough to cover the interest and principal for the loan.

My HELOC balance has increased it was to pay for a trip I had planned to visit my family in May. I try to visit them once a year and I’m working on paying down the balance slowly and gradually. I have more repairs coming that are going to inflate the balance some more. My AC decided it wanted to have a stroke. I’m working on getting it serviced now before it gets too hot and I’m also working on making some more updates to my home. Thankfully it hasn’t completely died but it’s an expensive repair.
Pro-Makeup Artist Tip
I really wanted to love translucent powder. Oh how I wanted to love it! But I have found…it’s just not getting the trick done and it takes much more effort to get it to do what I need it too do. This is why, I’ve found that pressed powders are a lot more reasonable to work with. If you’re like me and you’ve found that translucent/setting powder isn’t doing it for you, find a pressed powder and give it a try, you won’t regret it!
That’s all I have for today! Don’t forget to like, comment, subscribe to see more content from me and to share my page with someone who you think may benefit from the makeup/skin care tips or financial advice.
Until Next Time!
