A makeup artist on her journey to debt freedom!

Money Moves Month-End – June

It’s that time again!  An entire month has passed from beginning to end and even for a regular month, I’ve made some pretty significant progress.  I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend that was filled with sun, fun, and pre-4th of July festivities.  I did, as well as rest some, and I didn’t clean up anything.  I always say…clean up something, but I didn’t feel like it, so it didn’t happen. LOL!!!  I’m still recovering from breaking my foot.  It’s been a lot more difficult to get back to normal than the doctor led on to, so I’m perfectly fine giving myself a little grace.  In fact, everyone should.  Now that my very eventful weekend has been expressed, I’m going to go in full detail about how the month went.  I’m a number’s nerd to an extent and the math doesn’t lie. 😊 You may want a full meal for this one because it’s going to be a long one.  Get something to drink as well because every meal needs a drink to be washed down effectively and we’ll get started!

Like always, I’ll be sharing the following the Money Moves Month-End for June:

  • Income
  • Debt Totals
  • Payment Breakdown
  • Net Worth

 Income – June

For June income, I was sure to go through my transaction history this go round to make sure the numbers were effective.  Overall…it was a decent month.

Debt Totals – June

My introduction pic highlights what’s happening to my debt.  If you can’t tell from this, it continues to go down.  I was able to mark off another box on my tracker and I’m almost at the 50% mark after adding crazy amounts to my totals because of unexpected events and silly decisions. The interest I paid is actually $42.81. I didn’t want to create another snip of the data because it’s late Sunday night I should try to go to sleep.

Payment Breakdown – June

This is the new item I decided to capture to show when and how I made my payments every month.  I do this weekly for the regular Money Moves Monday posts and wanted to combine them all so the progress could be seen from the start of the month to the end.  Every month is typically this busy and I think it’s nice to see it all in one place. The text in pink are the payments I made from what was left over in my budget that pay period.

My Net Worth

This is what my net worth looks like for the month of June:

I actually thought I was going to be below $100k again but I stand corrected!  I was really thinking that $400 from my LGFCU account was going to ruin everything.  While my liquid cash has decreased, my house and 401k went up in value from last month and that can be seen here

Pro-Makeup Artist Tip

We’re deep in the armpit of summer and one thing that a lot of us don’t consider are the colors we’re using for our makeup.  Now this isn’t about foundation.  This is about the eyeshadow and lip colors chosen for your looks for the summer.  Because the heat can be so extreme, avoid foundation, if it’s an option, and makeup for it for it with a solid skin care routine and sunscreen for protection and a glow.  Pastels, bold colors, and nude shades are going to have your face looking fresh for the summer. For every look, use some patience, try to steady your hand, and let google/YouTube be your guide. 😊

That’s all I have for today!  Don’t forget to like, comment, subscribe to see more content from me and to share my page with someone who you think may benefit from the makeup tips or financial advice.

Welcome new subscribers!  As soon as I hit 100 subscribers, I’ll host a giveaway.

Until Next Time!
